Retaining Walls and Slopes

Retaining walls are Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) structures which allow grade changes over little on no horizontal land loss.  They can be Pressure Relief Walls, an MSE fill which applies no lateral load to a structure.  Slope applications involve steepening of a slope to free up additional horizontal land above or below the slope for increased right of way or building use.
